Junior Bookkeeper at Indie Finance

Job Summary

• We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to support our finance team.
• The successful candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and performing basic bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and expenses
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in preparing financial reports and reconciliations
• Perform data entry and maintain financial databases
• Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

Requirements

• Highee national diploma or equivalent required; degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial record-keeping and data entry
• Basic understanding of financial reporting and analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
