Deko Integrated and Agro Processing Ltd, Nigeria is a producer and exporter of agricultural produce such as Sorghum, Cassava, Soybean, Cocoa, and many other agricultural products. For our climate-smart agricultural projects (cocoa, soybean, cassava, sorghum) in Nigeria, Deko Integrated and Livestock Limited is looking to recruit a Junior Agricultural engineer who will join our team in the implementation of a climate-smart agriculture infrastructure project.

As a Junior Agricultural engineer, you will participate in the planning, design, and setting of cost-efficient solutions for:

• Water resources: irrigation, pond, dam, rainwater catchment, etc.
• Land development: land clearing, land preparation, etc.
• Agricultural roads
• Agricultural equipment
• Processing equipment & Production line
• Building infrastructure: greenhouses, warehouses, silos, tanks, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

• Must have excellent communication skills
• Possession of good interpersonal skills is a must
• Experiences in the installation, use, and repair of agricultural equipment
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Must be someone that pays keen attention to details
• Must have excellent coordination and organizational abilities
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Must display flexibility while carrying out duties
• Must have good time management skills
• Must have in-depth knowledge of general agricultural procedures
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering.
