Junior Acountant at Excel Charis Pharmaceutical Chemical Limited

Duties

• Providing support to the account department
• Posting and Printing of Customers invoices
• Collection and Confirmation of cash from the sales representatives
•  Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, Credit limit; coordinating contact with Marketing and Sales Department.
• Using the cash received register to reconcile the cash paid at the bank
• Proper filing of account department documents such as evidence of bank lodgement, invoices, requisition sheets e.t.c
• Assist in calling of customers to confirm balances

Lodgement of payment

• Assist in Preparation of financial statement, business activity reports, and forecasts
• Assist in the preparation of budgeting, forecasting and planning process
• Weekly and monthly reconciliation of office expenses.
• Assist in Reconciliation of financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Ensure adequate recording of transaction in books of accounts like cash book, ledger e.t.c
• Ensure adherence policies and procedure

Qualification

• Bachelor degree in accounting or related field

Requirements:

• Proficiency in any accounting software and excellent knowledge of MS office
• Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
