Job Summary

As our Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks and financial operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial management while contributing to the company's financial accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper documentation of all transactions and help prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliations.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies and help with budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.

Salary
₦150,000 - ₦200,000 per month
