Junior Accountant at Outsource Company

A Retail Outlet in Lagos is looking to hire the services of a Junior accountant with the following job description

Perform weekly sales (cash, POS, etc.) reconciliations and ensure that PRL outlets' cashbook, petty cash and other outlet reports are accurate Perform periodic bank reconciliations as required and liaise with the bank for any errors or misstatements found on the bank statements Maintain an accurate and up to date Petty cash Book Perform efficient and effective banking administration Preparation of journal vouchers and posting into accounting system Clearing of GL open items and ensuring an up-to-date reconciliation and analysis of all ledgers Maintain an accurate and up to date fixed asset register and ensure accurate charge of depreciation every month Accurate / systematic amortization / expensing of prepaid balances Assist the Financial Reporting Analyst to liaise with external auditors in closing of accounts and preparation of reports
