Junior Accountant at CHF Heron Nigeria Limited

Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented junior-level Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide financial insights to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers and reconciliations
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years of professional accounting experience
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA) (Optional but an added advantage)
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
