• LIXYtech is recruiting an experiencedmid-level or senior JavaScript Application Developer to work on blockchain / cryptocurrency applications. who is passionate about solving complex problems with code. We are looking for next-generation Nigerian developers to create, lead, and build new solutions.

Key Responsibilities
The developer’s primary responsibility is to develop applications for the blockchain / cryptocurrency. This involves the following:

• Understanding your client’s business goals
• Develop & maintain fast and functional applications
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot apps for bugs Implement front-end and back-end requirements
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure a high quality product

Technical requirements

• Are able to pass our engineering skills assessment
• Highly skilled in JavaScript and NodeJS
• Experience writing unit tests in JS test frameworks like mocha and chai
• Experience or strong interest in blockchain or cryptocurrency software development
• Experience with AWS or a similar cloud infrastructure system
• Experience with Postgres or similar SQL based relational database
• Have experience developing software using Agile methodologies
• Experience with Linux or another UNIX like environment
