IT Support Specialist at Busha Digital LTD

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team . As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing customer service, and maintaining and updating computer systems, you will provide technical assistance to our staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, you will install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware faults, and solve network, technical, application problems. and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Your duties may also include training new employees and maintaining open communication with other departments during your day.

Responsibilities:

• provide support in a face-to-face capacity, over the phone or via remote desktop software, helping staff or set up systems or resolve issues
• Maintains, analyses, troubleshoots, and repairs computers systems, hardware and peripherals.
• Set up new user accounts, email, system access, and resolve login/password issues.
• Diagnose and resolve system, application, or network problems to minimize downtime.
• Support the deployment and operation of automated data processing and telecommunication systems.
• Install updates, security patches, and software upgrades as needed.
• Provide system-level support across Windows, MacOs & Linux based systems and related infrastructure.
• Assist with day-to-day system administration tasks and routine maintenance procedures.
• Maintain software licenses, asset inventory, and ensure systems are compliant with internal standards.
• Offer training and guidance to new employees on IT systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth IT support across the company.

The ideal candidate must have;

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science.
• Relevant professional certification from a recognized body e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
• Skills in maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware, including personal computers, peripherals and data communication.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems with personal computers, network connections, printers, and telephone equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Experience with Windows, MacOs , Linux environments as well as IT asset management.
