IT Support Officer at IPT Powertech

Position Summary:

• The IT Support Officer will provide technical support to staff, ensure smooth running of computer systems, and assist with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• The role requires a proactive professional who can resolve issues efficiently while delivering excellent user support.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA At, Network•, IT IL, or Microsoft Certified are an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with hardware maintenance, system installations, and user support.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices will be a plus.

Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent knowledge Of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Basic understanding of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or equivalent).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong customer service orientation.
