IT Support Executive at Metro and Castle

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end IT operations of the Firm. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations of information systems and electronic processing;
• Provide network design, installation, monitoring, management, and troubleshooting for WAN and LANs.
• Ensuring equipment interface setup and maintenance
• Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software and networking software products.
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
• Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot all technology issues.
• Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance.
• Performing other related duties and responsibilities as directed.
• Work with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels.
• Liaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in Computer Science, or other related fields.
• Proven Experience as an IT Support (minimum of 2 years)
• Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware, including Microsoft platform
• Knowledge of systems engineering, computer maintenance, server administration, installation, repair and troubleshooting
• Ability to provide extensive equipment support experience with PCs
• Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
