About the role.
The IT Security & Network Analyst is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's network and systems. The role involves identifying & analyzing potential security risks, developing & implementing security policies and procedures, and monitoring network & system activity to identify and respond to security threats.

The analyst will also be responsible for implementing & maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting network issues, and performing regular network maintenance tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze potential security risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's network and systems.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor network and system activity to identify and respond to security threats.
• Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support for network-related problems.
• Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including network performance analysis, capacity planning, and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and maintain network and security solutions that meet business needs.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in IT security and networking.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT security and networking.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security technologies.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools, such as Wireshark and Nagios.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNA, are a plus.
