Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with expertise in computer systems, networks, security and software applications. This role requires problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, systems, and networks. Provide end-user IT support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and IP Telephone.
• Maintain IT security systems, including antivirus, firewalls, and security software Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and timely backups
• Maintain records of IT infrastructure, assets, and software licences
• Support IT policies, risk management, security awareness, and other IT initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other related field of study from an accredited University.
• Proven experience in IT support or administration.
• Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.

Professional IT certifications:

• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
• Network+
• CompTIA A+
• Any other Key Professional IT certifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-year's professional experience with last 3 years in similar capacity is an added advantage.
