IT Officer at AACE Food Processing & Distribution Limited

• The IT Officer will oversee the company’s ICT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, security, and efficiency of all IT systems. This role includes network administration, hardware and software management, cybersecurity, and user support.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and experience managing IT functions within a business environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

He/She will:

• Oversee IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring uptime and performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and enterprise applications.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
• Provide technical support to employees, ensuring quick resolution of IT-related issues.
• Manage data backup, recovery, and storage systems to ensure business continuity.
• Oversee ERP, HRIS, and other business applications, ensuring proper functionality and updates.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and consultants.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, including automation and cloud solutions.
• Conduct IT training for employees to enhance digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT administration, systems management, or network support.
• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, database management, and IT security.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, ERP systems, and cloud computing solutions.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting, system upgrades, and IT asset management.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Experience with cloud-based technologies.
• Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
• Project management experience for IT infrastructure upgrades or digital transformation.
