IT Manager at Ark Insurance Group

• We are looking for an IT manager to manage and support the day-to-day IT needs of our organization.
• This person will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software, providing technical support to employees, managing IT assets, and ensuring the security and smooth operation of our internal systems.
• The ideal candidate will be proactive, tech-savvy, and able to work independently while coordinating with external IT partners when needed.

Functional Areas:

• IT Support and Troubleshooting
• Hardware and Software Management
• Network and Security Monitoring
• IT Asset and License Management
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
• Collaborating with External IT Partners
• Regular System Maintenance and Performance Monitoring

Key Performance Indicators:

• System uptime and availability percentage.
• Mean time to resolve (MTTR) IT incidents.
• Compliance with data protection regulations and audit results.
• Cybersecurity incident frequency and resolution time.
• Successful completion of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Efficiency of backup and disaster recovery processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Three + years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network security.
• Proficiency in managing enterprise applications, ERP systems, and databases.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.), networking, and hardware configuration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and/or Sophos
• Familiarity with IT security best practices and network protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
