Job description

• We are currently recruiting for the position of an IT Officer who will be responsible for managing and supporting an organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, efficient, and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide assistance with a wide range of technology-related issues, acting as the first point of contact for users experiencing IT problems.
• System Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Security Oversight: Ensure the security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls to protect sensitive information.
• Network Management: Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
• Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and installations, while collaborating with other departments to understand their IT needs.
• Documentation: Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training purposes.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Relevant experience with computer systems, hardware, software, and networking is essential. Familiarity with programming languages and database management systems is also beneficial.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are crucial.
• Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
