We are seeking a highly skilled IT Electrical Project / Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, as well as providing IT support to ensure seamless integration of automation, security, and communication systems.
The role requires strong technical expertise in both electrical engineering and IT systems to guarantee optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and oversee electrical and IT-related projects and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Design, implement, and manage ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, public address systems,~ data networks, and building automation systems.
Operate and maintain automation, security, and IT systems with proficiency in LENEL, BOSCH, Siemens, Honeywell, and ZKTeco.
Provide IT support for servers, switches, routers, and system integrations that support engineering operations.
Collaborate with management, IT teams, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes, IT security standards, and project specifications.
Prepare technical reports, project documentation, system configurations, and as-built drawings for project records.
Supervise engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, safety compliance, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
B.Eng in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 – 4 years’ experience in ELV system design, IT infrastructure, installation, and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS) and IT systems integration.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design tools/software.
Hands-on experience with automation and ELV systems (LENEL, BOSCH, Siemens, Honeywell, ZKTeco).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Familiarity with IT security, data backup, and system troubleshooting automation is an added advantage.
