    IT Business Manager

    Do you have a solid background in Information Technology Business Operations with an interest to oversee operations, manage and scaleup an IT/Tech Start-Up business? 

    Do you have a background in technical field, with demonstrable business acumen and are ready to work in a diverse technology environment?  

    We are looking for an ambitious and energetic IT Business Manager experienced in IT, Business and People management. You will be tasked to oversee the technical operations while managing human and material resources to drive significant business and revenue growth.  

    Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Pension + Reward + Commission etc 
    Hours: Mon-Fri.

    This person should have experience in overseeing IT Business Operations. 

    Objectives of the Role 

    • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, platforms, infrastructure, emerging technologies and management 
    • Lead across IT and all IT Projects (Internal and External Customer Engagement) 
    • Prepare and Manage IT Budget process and financial plan across all business functions 
    • Develop Strategic plan for optimized productivity. 
    • Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes. 
    • Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships/partnerships. 

    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team of IT professionals. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Responsibility for licensing, Backup, Recovery and the implementation of process changes if necessary 
    • Develop and grow the existing team into a group wide best in class IT function 
    • Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality. 
    • Oversee day to day operations of both the technical and business. 
    • Experience with the implementation and/or continuous improvement of ITIL, COBIT, or other industry standard frameworks for IT Service Management 
    • Align organisational IT strategy with customer experience strategy. 
    • Effective resource management (manpower and asset) with business strategy 
    • Lead client engagement on response to RFP/RFQs, POCs, Demo towards gaining customer acquisition. 
    • Develop alternatives to enhance operational policies, standards and procedures. 
    • Develop Risk mitigation plan. Impact and performance assessment. (Business and Workforce) 
    • Influence department heads to achieve desired results. 
    • Influence key accounts' needs to maximise IT solutioning revenue generation. 
    • Integrate new enabled IT processes and systems across functions. 
    • Manage integrated IT solutions through cost-benefit analysis to serve complex customer needs. 
    • Manage network security of IT-enabled processes and systems. 
    • Review allocation of resources across different business activities and introduce strategic ideas to save Capex/Opex 
    • Review customers' IT enterprise architecture to further improve system integration. 
    • Identifying new business opportunities, mobilising a team with the necessary technical skills to lead the sale and facilitate the delivery of new IT services/consultancy engagements to clients. 
    • Effective relationship skills, including the ability to resolve disputes and manage conflicting stakeholder priorities. 
    • Provide regular updates, business performance report and revenue forecasts to the Management. 

    Qualifications & Experience  

    • 6-10 years' experience in a manager role and above in an IT services environment. 
    • Experience in planning and budgeting. 
    • Knowledge of IT business process and Administration of Microsoft 365 Services. 
    • Strong analytical ability 
    • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. 
    • Relevant experience in IT sales, preferably in a channel sales role for a vendor or distributor. 
    • Relevant recent experience in business development or territory account management role in a company targeting professional IT channel. 
    • Proven record of demonstrable growth within new business and existing clients' experiences as an IT Business Manager. 
    • Proven success in managing a sales channel with project pipeline including administration and reporting. 
    • Dynamic and Entrepreneurial personality to develop relationship at different levels in channel partner organizations. 
    • Direct accountability for revenue and gross margin performance in a technology based-based consultancy or professional services business. 
    • Strong presentation, analytical, interpersonal, and business relationship building skills. 
    • Ability to translate strategic business objectives into commercial proposals and communicating them to all levels of a client’s organisation. 

    Nice to Have 

    • Credible level of understanding of IT/Cloud Solutions 
    • Good understanding of how to implement successful IT programmes in an Agile environment. 
    • Administration of Microsoft 365 Services.
