We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IoT Assistant to support the development and implementation of IoT-based solutions in solar energy systems.
The ideal candidate will assist with system integration, data analysis, and software development, playing a key role in improving the efficiency and performance of solar infrastructure through IoT technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of IoT-enabled solutions for solar energy systems.
Support the integration of sensors and data acquisition components with solar panels, inverters, and related hardware.
Conduct performance monitoring and data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
Assist in developing software tools for real-time data visualization, reporting, and system diagnostics.
Participate in on-site testing, deployment, and validation of IoT devices and systems.
Stay informed on the latest advancements in IoT and renewable energy technologies to contribute innovative ideas.
Qualifications
BSc or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Foundational understanding of solar energy systems and IoT technologies.
Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:Prior internship or project experience related to solar energy or IoT.
Exposure to cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data storage systems.
Understanding of network configuration and cybersecurity protocols in IoT environments.
