Invoicing Officer at University Press PLC

Job Overview:

• We are currently seeking a competent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Invoicing Officer at our Lagos Main Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing customer invoices accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date billing records, and supporting the finance team in ensuring prompt and error-free invoicing in line with the company’s financial policies and procedures.

Job Description 

• Issue invoices, consignment notes, stock transfer invoices, etc.
• Raise credit notes for sales representatives.
• Check movement of stocks.
• Update stock records.
• Give information on stock movement and positions.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Qualification & Required Skills  

• A relevant first degree (BSc. /HND) in Computer Science / Accounting/ Business Administration with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division / Lower Credit
• Minimum of at least, three (3) years post qualification experience in a similar position.
• Not more than 35 years of age.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in data analysis and management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be pro-active and versatile
