Job Summary

• As an Invoice Officer you are responsible for preparing, processing, and managing customer invoices while ensuring billing accuracy and timely documentation of all financial transactions.
• The role supports the finance department by maintaining proper invoicing records and following up on outstanding payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Verify sales orders, delivery notes, and supporting documents before invoicing.
• Ensure prices, quantities, discounts, and taxes are correctly reflected on invoices.
• Maintain proper records of all issued invoices.
• Reconcile invoices with payments received.
• Monitor overdue invoices and follow up with customers for payment.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with customers and internal departments.
• Update invoice information in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP.
• Prepare periodic billing and receivable reports for management.
• Assist with month-end financial reconciliation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records.
• Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• OND / HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics

Experience:

• 2–3 years experience in:
• Billing
• Accounts receivable
• Finance support
• Invoicing operations

• Knowledge of invoicing and billing procedures
