Inventory Supervisor at George Houston Resources Limited

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Supervisor to oversee and manage our inventory operations. The Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory tracking, implementing inventory control procedures, and supervising inventory staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of products
• Lead and supervise a team of inventory clerks, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize inventory management processes.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inventory reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for efficiency and accessibility.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the inventory area.

SALARY: 50,000 + Other benefit

QUALIFICATIONS

• OND in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• 2 –3 Years proven experience in inventory management or a similar supervisory role
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
