    Inventory Operations Officer

    The Inventory Operations Officer is responsible for preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels and giving out the supplies from the stock.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee inventory management - Monitor and document inventory of office supplies, Preparing inventories, maintaining the stock records, using computerised systems for entering the records and  accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders.
    • Preparing the reports on adjustments done to inventories that may be damaged, spoilt, etc., and coordinating the purchasing, inventory and warehousing functions.
    • Maintaining records of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness 
    • Reconciling of physical stock with the stock in the system
    • Overseeing to ensure that the arrangement of goods has been done in alignment with the stock location system so that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. Similarly, he/she ensures that the stock stay physically protected in the warehouse.
    • Taking stock and confirming the number of stock at a particular period on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members
    • Supervising the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, material, etc., and consignment so that it can be accessed and identified easily.
    • Ensuring the correct and timely valuation of inventory 
    • Directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking of stock.
    • Confirm availability of merchants for delivery of orders
    • Gather inventory information of all customers under management

    Education/ Experience/ Skills

    • A bachelor’s Degree in preferably in IT, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Social Sciences, or any closely related field.
    • At least 1 year work experience as an Inventory or Audit Officer is required.
    • Demonstrated skills in data management, qualitative and quantitative research.
    • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel excel is essential.
    • Fluency (written and verbal communication skills) in English is required.
    • Strong analytical and project management skills.
    • Top-notch coordinating skills.
    • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
    • Ability to work, learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Financial aptitude and budgeting skills
    • Record keeping 
    • Self-motivated person able to work with minimal supervision.
