• We are seeking a skilled Internal IT/Tech Support Specialist with strong GIS expertise to join our team.
• This role combines traditional IT support with geospatial technology, ensuring smooth operations across both IT systems and GIS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for staff across hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain company devices, applications, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly to minimize downtime.
• Support and manage GIS applications,
• Assist users with GIS-related tasks,software deployment.
• Monitor and maintain IT and GIS infrastructure, ensuring system reliability.
• Train staff on IT and GIS tools, creating user-friendly guides.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security, and GIS data integrity.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
• Compulsory knowledge of GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and networking basics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco, GIS-related certifications) are a plus.
