Internal Control Officer (Kano Operations) at Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC)

JOB SUMMARY

The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the organization's internal control systems and procedures related to Sesame and Oilseeds export and warehousing operations. The Officer will ensure compliance with established policies, regulations, and accounting standards in the areas of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and financial reporting for Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform regular reviews and assessments of the SGCL internal controls, policies, and procedures related to Sesame and Oilseeds export and warehousing operations.
• Identify and evaluate risks, and develop risk mitigation plans in the areas of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and financial reporting.
• Analyze data and report on findings to line manager in related to Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited operations.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls related to SGCL, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures related SGCL
• Work with line manager and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support for audits related SGCL Operation.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on internal control procedures and policies related SGCL Operation.
• Conduct investigations of suspected fraud or other irregularities related to all activities in SGCL.
• To carry out other  job responsibilities that may be assigned by the TL/Head Internal Control
• Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and internal control frameworks in the context of Sesame and Oilseeds export and warehousing operations.
• Ability to identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans in the areas of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and financial reporting related to Sesame and Oilseeds export and warehousing operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to Sesame and Oilseeds export and warehousing operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy related to Sesame and Oilseeds  export and warehousing operations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in the context of Sesame and Oilseeds  export and warehousing operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

JOB EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and internal control frameworks in the context of Sesame and Oilseeds export and warehousing operations.
• Ability to identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans in the areas of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and financial reporting related to cocoa and cashew export and warehousing operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to Sesame and Oilseeds export and warehousing operations.
