Internal Control Manager at Money Trust Microfinance Bank

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Control Manager located in Lekki.
• The Internal Control Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal control framework to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, protect the bank's assets, maintain accurate financial records, and promote operational efficiency.
• The Internal Control Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and providing recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of internal control principles, practices, and techniques
• Experience in developing and implementing internal control frameworks and risk management strategies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of banking operations, laws, and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Certification in internal control or related field (e.g. CIA, CISA) is a plus
• Experience in the microfinance industry is a plus
