Internal Control / Audit Executive at Realty Point Limited

A dynamic multifaceted Pan-African real estate going concern requires an Internal Control Executive urgently in our head office (Lagos).

Job Summary

To plan and carry out all internal control /Audit functions of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Review and appraise the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures and controls and timeliness of documentation generation
• Provide training on policy and controls.
• Review RPL project briefs and compliance with procedures.
• Credit control (Receivables, staff float outstanding).
• Expenses management and control.
• Checking the asset disposal bidding process.
• Reviewing the Fixed assets register from time to time, physical asset count exercise.
• Checking of payroll such as overtime, Leave allowance, incentives e.t.c
• Tax and Regulatory Affairs - Ensure all tax and regulatory filings are made promptly.
• Carry other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

Desired Skills and Experience

• HND/ B.Sc in Accounting, ICAN membership in view.
• 2-5 years of experience in the real estate industry and/or with an audit firm.
• Analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent Communication skills and perfect command of the English language.
