Internal Control and Compliance Executive at International Health Management Services (IHMS)

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Control and Compliance Executive to join our team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating internal processes, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• You’ll play a key role in safeguarding the company’s integrity and promoting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and enforce internal control and compliance systems across the organization
• Monitor and report on operational, financial, and regulatory risks
• Conduct internal audits and ensure the timely closure of control gaps
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Develop compliance programs and deliver training to staff on regulatory updates
• Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions and process improvements
• Maintain and update documentation for compliance checks and audit trails

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in internal control, audit, or compliance roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of ethics.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and familiarity with audit tools are advantages.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CIA, CISA) are a plus
• The ability to resume work immediately is a strong advantage.
