Internal Auditor at Proten

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Officer in charge/ Manager, the person will be responsible for day-to-day Audits which includes Business Process and System walkthroughs, Data Analytics, Draft Audit Reports, Follow up on implementation of past observations.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine scope of review in conjunction with the Audit Manager 
• Conduct testing and analysis of specified business process / areas using samples and other data to prove evidence of / absence of risk by comparing to company policies and procedures, best business practices and industry benchmarks
• Conduct risk assessment of assigned department or business process / area within the established / required timeline 
• Identify and recommend ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits 
• Draft comprehensive and complete report of audit results
• Update audit tracking data and ensure follow up actions are performed as agreed
• Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Draft Flowcharts of business transactions
• Prepare and build risk and controls library for audits conducted
• Help Audit Manager to develop audit plan

Qualifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to perform work on pressure
• Excellent communication Skills
• Excellent attention to detail to review large amounts of data and numbers
• Good critical-thinking skills to gather all the available data and make informed decisions
• Excellent research skills to find all related information needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

Chartered Accountant with 6 - 8 Years of experience in internal audit from Big 4 Audit Firm

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES: (TECHNICAL & NON-TECHNICAL):

• Practical knowledge of MS EXCEL is very key  
• Working knowledge of Oracle
