Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team at our retail pharmacy store located in Victoria Island. The role involves conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify weaknesses or deficiencies.
• Prepare audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with department managers to implement audit recommendations and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans based on identified risks.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Investigate irregularities or discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide support during external audits or regulatory examinations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal auditing.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA would be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
• Proximity to Victoria Island, with the ability to travel to other locations such as Festac and Lekki.
• Male candidates are preferred.

Salary Package: Gross salary range from ₦150,000 to ₦200,000, depending on experience.
