Internal Auditor at Godrej Consumer Products Limited

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special audits of manufacturing operations, including inventory, production, procurement, and logistics.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls across the production line and warehouse processes.
• Verify compliance with SOPs, health and safety standards, and quality controls.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and waste, and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct inventory audits (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods) and stock reconciliations.
• Review procurement and vendor management processes for compliance and value delivery.
• Monitor adherence to cost control measures and budget usage.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management with actionable solutions.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and corrective actions for timely implementation.
• Assist in conducting fraud investigations, when necessary.
• Ensure statutory compliance (e.g., tax, regulatory filings, environmental standards).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• ACA, ACCA, or CIA certification.
• 5-7 years of audit experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
