Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for an Internal Auditor based in Abuja. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating financial records, conducting detailed audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will provide independent, objective, and assurance-focused services to the Board of Directors through its Audit & Risk Committee by evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, governance processes, and regulatory compliance across all branches of Cedarcrest Hospitals Ltd.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent (mandatory).
• Minimum 6–9 years’ experience in internal audit, preferably in healthcare or multi-site organizations.
• Strong knowledge of governance, ERM, compliance, and healthcare regulation.  Experience with audit analytics and ERP systems.
