What duties will you have?

• Evaluating risk management activities within the organization.
• Implementing controls to protect against fraud and theft of the organizational assets and money.
• Determining the organization’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Evaluating and making recommendations that can assist in improving internal control.
• Performing audit assignments as may be assigned from time to time
• Learning and studying the organization’s policy and guidelines.
• Identifying audit scope and developing annual plans within the organization.
• Gathering, analyzing, evaluating, and presenting accounting documentation, reports, data, and flowcharts.
• Promoting ethics and identifying improper conduct within the company.
• Consistently reviewing company business practices.
• Making recommendations on process improvement.
• Ensuring that risk management procedures are in place.
• Ensuring laws and regulations are compliant.

What Skills Must You Have?

• Should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience of 4+ years in retail management or manufacturing sector would be preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office packages and accounting software/spreadsheets
• Strong communication skills to work with Accountants and other coworkers
• Excellent attention to detail to review large amounts of data and numbers

• Good critical-thinking skills to gather all of the available data and make informed decisions
• Excellent research skills to find all related information needed
