Internal Auditor at Black Hill

Salary range: #150,000 - #250,000

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join their hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving our internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, operational processes, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assess risk management strategies and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Review and analyze financial data, operational procedures, and compliance with hospitality industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with department heads to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.
• Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CIA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of auditing experience, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
