Job Summary

• The Internal Audit/Control Officer conducts audits, monitors controls, investigates fraud, and ensures compliance across all business functions.

Job Details

• Reports to the General Manager, Audit, Compliance, and Control Unit
• Conduct audits of business processes, policies, systems, financials, operations, and governance.
• Investigate fraud within the organization and investigate suspected fraudulent/sharp practices.
• Develop necessary policies, procedures, OLAs, and SLAs for various functions.
• Evaluate the level of business compliance with regulatory and statutory provisions.
• Prepare audit reports, advise units and committees on exceptions, and provide recommendations.

Requirements

• Requires a first degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline (Accounting, Economics, Finance, etc.).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role in the financial services industry.
• IT audit experience is required.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA are required.
