Internal Audit Manager at Proforce Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead the internal audit function of our automobile manufacturing company.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating internal controls, risk management processes, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all departments.
• This role will provide independent assurance to management and the Board on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan based on organizational risks.
• Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and process audits across manufacturing and corporate functions.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, fraud risks, and areas of non-compliance.
• Review procurement, inventory management, production, sales, and financial processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Lead audit engagements from planning to reporting and follow-up activities.
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and report progress to management.
• Support investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, or policy violations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Advise management on risk mitigation strategies and best practices.
• Supervise and mentor internal audit staff to enhance team performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent is required.
• 5–7 years of relevant audit experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong report-writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit management software.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
