Internal Audit Assistant at Handyware Industries Limited

Job Responsibilities 

• Assist the Head of Internal Audit in carrying out the audit plan
• Carry out pre-payment audit on imprest
• Confirm the movement of raw materials and their usage
• Monitor and analyze the inflow and outflow of diesel regularly
• Cross-check goods received notes and internal transfer vouchers against their stock card in all warehouses regularly
• Post payment audit of imprest system
• Oversee and monitor all scrap items or non-current assets held for sale to be disposed
• Stock-taking exercises regularly
• Ensure the accuracy of the stock bin card
• Assist in monitoring production yield and variance
• Review the adequacy of internal controls
• Monitor and enforce compliance with management policies and procedures
• Carry out other necessary activities to ensure the efficiency of the department

Qualifications

• BSc Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures
• High levels of integrity and ethical standards
• Familiarity with accounting and office software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project and time management skills
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Sound independent judgement
• Excellent research and analytical skills
