Job Overview

• The Project Associate or Interior Project Enginneris responsible for the execution of a wide range of interior design projects in a timely manner, within the project scope and budget while satisfying and the expectation of all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on project executions and deliver to meet and exceed client’s expectations.
• Build and manage strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders, communicate timely and effectively, manage expectations by understanding objectives and aligning deliverables to meet said objectives.
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting thorough quality assurance tests
• Assist in carrying out risk assessment and mitigation.
• Read, Interpret and translate shop drawings to aligned Vendors.
• Troubleshoot problems on site and make quality recommendations to correct and move project forward.
• Following through on all potential problems, quality issues, fabrication problems until they are resolved without compromising design intent.

Requirements

• Years of Experience required: 4 years
• Able to read architectural & technical construction translates to construction activities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with risk management, HSE and quality assurance/control
• Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and MS Project
• Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Previous experience within the Interior Design industry is preferred.
• Experience in managing interior fit out projects worth at least NGN100 million as a site supervisor/ project associate in a or a wide range of structured and credible interior design or real estate firm for at least 3 years
• Experience in managing and delivering projects worth 100m and above
• PMP certification is an added advantage
• Registration with professional body
• Experience in managing and delivering projects for multinational companies.
