Insurance Officer, DCT at Dangote

Job Summary:

We are the Dangote Cement Plc, one of Nigeria’s most diversified manufacturing conglomerates, and we're seeking an Insurance Officer to join our Dangote Cement Transport Team. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain, review all documentation from departments and forward to brokers/insurers.
• Ensure clauses, exclusions and other items/conditions are in order
• Review Policy documents for accuracy and correctness
• Update payment schedule regularly and ensure no gaps in cover as per industry regulations
• Timely notification of claims to brokers/insurers on receipt from departments and follow up to ensure collation of all claims processing documents
• Follow up with claims adjusters / brokers/ insurers to ensure timely settlement of all claims
• Update claims schedule regularly
• Ensure confidentiality in all documents
• Any other duties as assigned by the Insurance Manager.

Requirements

• Bsc/HND in Insurance or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as an Insurance Officer
• Adequate understanding of Insurance industry's practices
• Excellent inter personal relationship
• Excellent communication skills
• Good attention to details
• Adequate analytical skill
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
