Installation Technician at Off-Field Concepts Limited

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests and assessments of new electrical systems and repairs to ensure quality and ascertain the functional state;
• Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other extra-low and low voltage electrical equipment;
• Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems;
• Communicate estimated timelines for repairs and installations to engineer;
• Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed;
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule;
• Log all material usage and task;
• Utilize and store all equipment properly.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Vocational education or Diploma in Electrical as accredited by NBTE or successfully completed apprenticeship as an Electrician  or equivalent;
• Valid Electrician license in good standing;
• 2+ years of experience working as an Electrician;
• Candidates must know how to troubleshoot electrical control and protective  devices (electrical distribution and Breakers, Isolators) and make adjustments or repairs if they are not working properly;
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring,  and all necessary electrical extra-low and low voltage equipment;
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical service installation;
• Good knowledge of electrical control and protective devices;
• Ability to follow instructions;
• Ability to read electrical drawings is an added advantage.
• Proficient with hand and power tools;
• Familiar with code requirements and company safety regulations.
