Infrastructure Patch Officer at New Usual Limited

Job Profile

• Provide best practice design and implementation according to best practices and standards.
• To deploy and manage server and storage infrastructure.
• To Secure and protect server and storage infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessment of Server infrastructure
• Support the Help/Service Desk & Regional IT Support functions
• Ensure regular backup of Server infrastructure
• Manage Server Infrastructure both Physical and Virtual
• Manage Patch deployment in Servers and Data Center infrastructure
• Ensure adequate reporting of patch management activities.
• Liaise with hardware providers to ensure SLAs are met

Role Qualification

• Academic/Professional: A good university degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Work experience: At least 2-3 years cognate experience in IT with certification in server administration.

Skills and Competencies:

• Knowledge of Data Center infrastructure & Management Proficiency in the management of HP Converged Server Infrastructure Experience with the use of patch management tools as SCCM, BigFix Experience with installation, configuration and management of Windows Server Operating system (Win Server 2012, 2012R2, 2016, 2019)
• Experience in Storage Management preferably HP 3PAR, NAS Experience in installation, configuration and management of Exchange Server 2019 Experience in the administration of Windows Active Directory
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Azure and associated cloud technologies. Proficiency with tools and technologies as SCCM, Bigfix, Commfault, HPE Synergy, HyperV
