    Information Technology Support Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s IT infrastructure, troubleshooting computer issues for internal employees and implementing new IT solutions to optimise our internal operations.

    What we will challenge you to achieve 

    • Assist with purchasing, renewing, and configuring domain names and DNS settings.
    • Troubleshoot hosting issues and ensure optimal performance of websites and related services.
    • Configure, manage, and support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and custom email solutions for clients.
    • Handle technical escalations based on the complexity of issues, providing tiered support as needed.
    • Guide new customers in configuring services such as email, web hosting, and domain names.
    • Educate clients on the use of tools like Microsoft Teams, Odoo ERP, and cloud solutions, ensuring they are effectively utilizing their systems.
    • Provide clear documentation, guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to facilitate effective tool usage and improve overall support efficiency.
    • Provide both remote and in-person technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise.
    • Use monitoring tools to proactively identify and mitigate potential disruptions to systems and services.

    What you need to have

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 
    • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT Support or a related role. 
    • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems. 
    • Extensive knowledge of computer systems, networks, and relevant software to troubleshoot and resolve issues that users encounter. 
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux Operating Systems; knowledge of network protocols and configurations. 
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Vmware, Comptia, MSCDBA etc) are a plus.
