Information Technology Services Officer at FATE Foundation

• We are looking for a tech – savvy, innovative, and adaptable IT Services Officer who is enthusiastic about delivering IT solutions and deploying relevant technologies to optimize and solve technical challenges toward meeting the needs of FATE Foundation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining computer servers and various network systems, as well as ensuring the smooth, efficient and secure operations of all tech needs and services throughout the Foundation .

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the troubleshooting and configuration of the system hardware and software; diagnose
  and resolve problems by repairing, debugging, and replacing computer parts in a timely manner as well as implementing and adapting new tools and setups.
• Develop remediation plans and facilitate implementation to reduce future risks of security breaches, data loss and operational disruption.
• Automate IT processes within the organization to align with global best practices and stay abreast of current technology trends in web development and web standards.
• Maintain and review standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure that business operations
  and IT infrastructure activities address information security risks.
• Conduct consistent analyses of the Foundation’s network to determine if existing components
  meet the organizational needs and perform upgrades, updates, or recommendations as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• HND/ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field from an accredited university.
• Computer savvy and an excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in network and server management support.
• Very strong interest and passion for information technology services and for the non-profit or development sector.
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
