Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity Manager
As the IT and Cybersecurity Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's data, systems, and networks while optimizing technology resources for productivity and growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
IT Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT and cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Provide leadership and vision for the IT department.
Cybersecurity: Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, including intrusion detection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response protocols. Protect sensitive data and intellectual property from cyber threats.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, including system administrators, network engineers, and cybersecurity specialists. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing technology investments and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and data protection laws. Monitor changes in cybersecurity threats and regulations, adapting policies and procedures accordingly.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to maintain technology partnerships and evaluate third-party solutions.
Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures or cyberattacks.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) is a plus.
Proven experience in IT management, including cybersecurity leadership roles.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat detection, and incident response.
Strong technical skills in network administration, infrastructure management, and cloud computing.
Experience with IT budget management and vendor relationships.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
