Information Security Manager at Oxygen X

The position

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Manager (ISM) to lead our organization's comprehensive security strategy.
• The ISM will be responsible for safeguarding our company's assets, employees, and information while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy, integrating cloud, and application security to protect information, personnel, and physical assets.
• Assess and mitigate risks through regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Oversee the design and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into business processes and ensure secure cloud-native deployments.
• Manage security incidents and conduct thorough investigations, reporting findings to senior management.
• Stay informed about emerging threats and industry best practices to continually enhance security measures.
• Build and lead a high-performing security team, providing guidance, mentorship, and continuous training.
• Foster relationships with external partners, law enforcement, and relevant security organizations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and security standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in Information Security, with at least 2 at Manager or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and crisis response.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Kubernetes security is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Security Management, Cybersecurity).
