Infection Control Nurse at Ascentech Services Limited

Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦700,000 per month (approximately PHP 56,000 – PHP 98,000)
Eligibility: Open to local candidates and qualified Filipino nurses

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infection Control Nurse to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases in our healthcare facility. The role involves implementing infection control policies, conducting surveillance of hospital-acquired infections, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and educating staff on best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce infection prevention protocols across clinical and non-clinical departments.
• Conduct surveillance of hospital-acquired infections and analyze trends with microbiologists.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support accreditation initiatives.
• Identify infection risks, implement containment measures, and investigate exposure incidents.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and communicate infection risks to stakeholders.
• Participate in infection control audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in infection prevention and control
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or willingness to obtain within the first year
• Strong knowledge of infection control standards, communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
