Duties and Responsibilities

• Fills scheme of work, students’ attendance, mark sheets, psychomotor and affective domains in the diary.
• Writes lesson notes in preparation to teach.
• Uses resources to make teaching practical and interesting.
• Engages students in practical lessons and field work
• Teaches techniques for answering exam questions.
• Ensures that students write notes, do assignments, class work and projects.
• Evaluates students by tests, assignments, projects and exams.
• Administers personalized teaching for weak students.
• Trains, coaches and administers experiential learning (Sciences).
• Conducts a psychomotor assessment tests for students to assess affective behavior and social relationship skills.

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• First degree in Sciences (BSc.)
• Minimum of five years post qualification experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience handling IT Maintenance

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in teaching subject area
• Ability to deal with students
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data management
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
