Job Description

• We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our academic team. The teacher will help students learn basic computer skills, digital tools, and responsible use of technology.

Responsibilities

• Teach ICT topics such as Microsoft Office, internet use, coding basics, and digital safety
• Prepare and deliver easy-to-understand lessons
• Guide students in using computers and software confidently
• Give classwork, assignments, tests, and projects
• Monitor and record student progress
• Help students understand the role of technology in today’s world.

Educational Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ICT, or Education with an ICT background
• TRCN certification or proof of registration is an advantage.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in ICT or a related field
• Experience preparing students for computer-based exams is an added advantage
• Being a WAEC/NECO examiner is also an advantage.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of computers, software, programming, robotics, and IT systems maintenance
• Clear and patient communication
• Ability to explain technical ideas in a simple way
• Good class control and organisation
• Ability to help students who are just starting with computers.

Other Requirements:

• Must be passionate about teaching and technology
• Must be ready to resume at the beginning of the new academic term
• Must be willing to follow school rules and support student learning.
