Job Description

• We are hiring an HVAC Engineer who is passionate about solving technical problems with innovative solutions.
• You will be actively involved in designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of heating, cooling, and air quality systems.
• This role involves creating solutions using HVAC theory, system analysis, and design using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technological tools.

Responsibilities

• Surveying sites ahead of fitting heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems.
• Planning the placement of pipework, ducts and control panels.
• Operate and maintain heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems.
• Performing quality checks to ensure a comfortable and energy-efficient environment by carefully studying and analysing factors such as thermal comfort, air quality, and energy consumption.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• To assist in the preparation of the performance of the equipment specification and data.
• Documentation of Conduct Testing inspection process for a variety of tasks including the light test for ducts, underground chilled water piping system, and hydro test.
• Installation and maintenance of HVAC system.

Requirements and Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 15 years work experience in HVAC role.
• Understanding of building and construction.
• Proficient in the use of CAD and other design software.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Excellent communication skills – written & verbal.
• Leadership and management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good troubleshooting skills & attention to detail.
• Keen interest in the growth, efficiency, and profitability of an organization.
