Human Resource Manager at MNE Transport and Logistics Services

Job Summary
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for managing employee life cycle, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and firing employees, preparing employee payroll and updating employee policies. 
Responsibilities:

• Identifying hiring need, recruiting staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specification. 
• Ensure that staff get paid correctly and on time.
• Ensure to always prepare job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates. 
• Organizing staff training sessions and activities.
• Monitoring staff performance and attendance across all offices in Nigeria.
• Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and employer’s own employment policies and procedure.
• Negotiating salaries, contracts, working conditions or redundancy packages with staff and representatives.
•  Looking for health, safety and welfare of all employees.
• Maintaining and updating employee records.
• Manage and directing the development of the company induction and orientation program for new recruits.

Qualifications and Skills:

• BSc. /MSc degree in Human Resource or relevant field.
• 5/8 years proven work experience as a Human Resource Officer.
• Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process.
• Tean management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
