HSE Deputy Manager at MG Vowgas Group

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.

Professional Certifications

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (mandatory).
• ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor.
• HSE management certifications (IOSH, OSHA, Process Safety, Fire Safety).
• Membership of a professional body (ISPON) is an advantage.
• 5–9 years’ proven HSE experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Hands-on experience construction, fabrication, marine, and HSE projects management.
• Strong track record in implementing HSE Management Systems, risk assessments, and audits.
• Exposure to international standards, client requirements, knowledgeable in HSE requirement for Tender and regulatory compliance.
• Support the HSE Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s Health, Safety, and
• Environmental Management Systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ISO standards, and client HSE expectations.
• Lead and coordinate risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP workshops, incident investigations, and internal & external audits.
• Supervise daily site HSE operations, ensuring hazards are identified and mitigated.
• Mentor, coach, and train staff on HSE procedures and safe work practices.
• Support the preparation of HSE performance reports,
• KPIs, and continuous improvement plans.
• Take charge of HSE responsibilities in the absence of the
• HSE Manager.
